Cold Casting is a process where resin and metal powder is mixed together at a minimum ratio of 2 parts epoxy resin to 1 part metal powder by weight, and poured into a mould.
Once demoulded, the project is then buffed back with steel wool or sanded back, and will have the appearance and weight of a realistic metal object!
Patina solutions and shoe polish can also be applied to create a more authentic rustic look.
